GardaWorld is seeking an Overnight Corporate Security Guard in Vancouver, BC to safeguard the site during non-business hours. You will monitor CCTV, conduct interior and exterior patrols, respond to alarms, and coordinate with emergency services when needed.

The role emphasizes vigilance, proactive risk detection, and strong reporting and communication skills. Training is provided through GardaWorld Academy, with clear paths to supervision and leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid BC security license
• OFA 1 First Aid Certification required
• Minimum 6 months of concierge experience required
• Strong report writing and technology skills
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus
• Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

Ready to suit up as a Corporate Security Guard

As an Overnight Security Guard, you'll play a critical role in protecting the site during non-business hours. This position is ideal for a highly observant and proactive security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment. You'll be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, conducting regular interior and exterior patrols, responding to alarms and emergencies, and identifying potential security risks before they *escalate*.
