Job summary

GardaWorld in Vancouver is seeking a Mobile Security Guard to perform mobile patrols and maintain a strong security presence across client sites.

You will respond to alarms, enforce rules, and cooperate with law enforcement when needed, while preparing precise shift reports and operating company vehicles safely.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada with a valid BC Security License.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• OFA 1 First Aid Certification (required).
• Minimum 6 months of mobile security experience.
• Strong report writing and technology skills.
• Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols across assigned sites.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and dispatches.
• Enforce property rules, city by-laws, and applicable laws.
• Provide backup support to on-site guards during incidents.
• Work with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
• Complete clear, accurate reports after each shift and safely operate vehicles.

  • 1) FT: Thr, Fri, Sat from 07:00 AM to 15:00 PM & Sat, Sun from 1500 PM - 2300 PM
  • 2) FT overnight: Tuesfrom 2000 PM to 0800 AM [bi-weekly / rotational Tuesday] & Wed, Thr, Fri from 2000 PM to 0800 AM
  • 3) casual opportunity (flexible) - Mon-Sun anytime
