Job summary

RBC in Vancouver seeks an Associate to support the Corporate Client Group’s borrowers. You will manage credit risk for syndicated and bilateral loan facilities, perform financial analysis, and interact with Risk Management and other partners to ensure a full range of credit and banking services.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, and the ability to read complex legal documents while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong credit, analytical and technical skills; able to assess financial statements.
• Professional written and verbal communication within a large organization.
• Ability to read complex legal documents and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit risk for syndicated and bilateral loan facilities and derivatives.
• Monitor financial/industry data, regulatory events, and rating moves.
• Identify deterioration in risk and propose actions to Team Leader/Director.
• Ensure compliance with loan agreements and data integrity in systems.
• Collaborate with Corporate Client Group, Risk Management, and other teams.
• Build relationships across functions within RBC.
