Job summary

Atlantic Packaging is seeking a Stores Coordinator in Whitby, ON to support inventory control, maintenance planning, and parts logistics. This role integrates stores inventory into CMMS, tracks critical parts, and coordinates repairs, calibration, and transportation with internal teams and external vendors.

You will need industrial experience and 3+ years in maintenance/inventory, with strong organizational skills and basic mechanical/electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Coordinate with transportation for ship and pickup of parts/tools/equipment.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Stores Coordinator to join our Whitby location. This role supports inventory control, maintenance planning, and parts logistics. Responsibilities include integrating stores inventory into a CMMS, tracking critical parts, receiving and issuing supplies, replenishing stock, staging shutdown materials, and coordinating repairs, calibration, transportation, and pickups.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the integration of stores inventory within CMMS. Develop automated tracking system for parts and materials including parts tracking. Critical parts include OEM parts for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and motors
• Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
• Issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal usage
• Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system
• Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
• Aid planners in preparing & staging parts for shutdowns
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Work with Planners to send equipment / tools out for repair and or calibration locally and international vendor
• Coordinate with transportation for ship and pick up of parts/ tools/ equipment domestic or international supplier
• Comply to Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and Atlantic Packaging Products Policies and Procedures
