Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. in Whitby is seeking a Stores Coordinator to support inventory control, CMMS integration, and parts logistics for our maintenance team.

You will receive, sort, store, and issue parts, maintain records, coordinate repairs and calibrations, and work with planners to stage materials for shutdowns. The role requires industrial experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Industrial experience in manufacturing or packaging settings.
• 3 years of maintenance and inventory experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Aptitude for accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Integrate stores inventory into CMMS and develop tracking for parts.
• Receive, sort and store incoming parts and supplies.
• Issue parts for internal use and maintain stock levels.
• Prepare requisitions to replenish parts and assist shutdown staging.
• Coordinate repairs, calibration, and tool/equipment pickups.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Stores Coordinator to join our Whitby location. This role supports inventory control, maintenance planning, and parts logistics. Responsibilities include integrating stores inventory into a CMMS, tracking critical parts, receiving and issuing supplies, replenishing stock, staging shutdown materials, and coordinating repairs, calibration, transportation, and pickups.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the integration of stores inventory within CMMS. Develop automated tracking system for parts and materials including parts tracking. Critical parts include OEM parts for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and motors
• Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
• Issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal usage
• Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system
• Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
• Aid planners in preparing & staging parts for shutdowns
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Work with Planners to send equipment / tools out for repair and or calibration locally and international vendor
• Coordinate with transportation for ship and pick up of parts/ tools/ equipment domestic or international supplier
• Comply to Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and Atlantic Packaging Products Policies and Procedures

What You Bring

• High School diploma
• Must have industrial experience
• 3yrs previous maintenance / inventory experience
• Have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Have basic mechanical / electrical knowledge
• Aptitude for accuracy and detail
