Job summary

MNP is seeking a Resource Management Coordinator in Canada to optimize staffing, scheduling, and deployment across multiple teams. You will analyze workloads, forecast capacity, and liaise with leadership to ensure efficient utilization while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience in professional services, with strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all data entry related to producing a schedule for various teams and offices
  • Assign engagements to individual team members by integrating the workflow management system with the schedule
  • Work closely with leadership on resource planning and deployment
  • Analyze and recommend staffing decisions based on engagement risk, skills, timing, continuity and geographic considerations
  • Manage staffing conflicts with all relevant parties, providing alternative staffing recommendations and escalating issues
  • Maximize utilization by identifying imbalances and negotiating and reallocating resources
  • Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the staffing process and operating model
  • Liaise with client-serving professionals to determine development needs and identify engagement and learning opportunities, as appropriate
  • Actively support performance management initiatives and learning and development planning
  • Track CPA hours and competencies
  • Communicate scheduling changes and updates to team members
  • Motivate others to follow processes and elevate issues/challenges as necessary
  • Assist with reporting including utilization performance, forecasts and capacity management
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, human resources or other related field

Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, human resources or other related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • At least 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional services and/or consulting firm experience is considered an asset
  • Experienced in data analysis and storytelling through datal with the capability of interpreting findings to provide actionable insights
  • Experienced in setting priorities, meeting, and exceeding deadlines while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record to influence and de-escalate effectively in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and empathy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and leverage strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accordingly
