Job summary

The University of Alberta Careers is seeking a Coordinator, Events to support planning and execution of a range of events that strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, community leaders and government partners.

You will work with faculties, marketing, development, senior administration, researchers and alumni speakers to deliver events that advance institutional priorities and build strategic partnerships.

Job description

This position has a term length of1 year plus 1 day.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work. Work primarily takes place at Enterprise Square.

The Coordinator, Events assists with the planning and implementation of a variety of events that help maintain and strengthen the relationship between the university and alumni, donors, community leaders, government leaders and others. The Coordinator works with colleagues in faculties, marketing and communications, development, senior administration, researchers and alumni speakers to deliver high-caliber events that advance institutional priorities and build strategic partnerships and relationships.
