University of Victoria is seeking an Alumni Coordinator – Events and Marketing within the Alumni Relations office to support strategic alumni programming and manage events and communications for a proud UVic alumni community.
You will coordinate the alumni communications calendar, handle in-person and digital event logistics, and drive digital engagement for signature events while ensuring data quality with Advancement Services. A bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience is required.

The Alumni Coordinator – Events and Marketing plays a key role in the implementation of strategic Alumni Relations programming through the coordination of event and communications logistics, as well as the associated data. The Coordinator works closely with the entire Alumni Relations team and campus partners across a range of programming to bring consistency and efficiency to all alumni events and marketing. This role is an RE NXT database power user.
The Coordinator is expected to gain an in-depth understanding of core Alumni Relations processes, acting as a resource for standards around email marketing, digital engagement, alumni data integrity and the tracking and measuring of alumni performance metrics.
This role requires the flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required for events.
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
