Job summary

Canad Inns in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking friendly culinary team members with at least two years of kitchen experience to prepare plates, assist cooks, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of cooking experience.
• Food Handlers and WHMIS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and knowledge of FIFO.
• Ability to work in a group and/or with minimal supervision.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under high-pressure situations.
• Flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

• Ensure tasks are accurate and high quality.
• Take ownership and follow through to deliver results.
• Continuously assess and improve practices for efficiency.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Garbonzo's Sports Pub by Canad Inns is looking for new team members who have a minimum 2 years exp. in the culinary field. If you aresomeone who can stay focused, work efficiently under pressure, and take pride in delivering great service when it matters most. Must be able to work closing shifts andhave vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare plates according to guest desires and Canad Inns standards
  
• Assist the Cook 1 and Kitchen Stewards,

• Communicate all pertinent information to Culinary staff;
• Distribute the menus to proper personnel;
• Garnish each dish to look as visually appealing;
• Inspect each plate and sign off for appearance and correctness;
• Ensure that work is accurate, thorough, and to the highest standards.
• Demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through to get the required results.
• Constantly assess and adapt current practices to perform a task better, faster, or more efficiently.
• All other duties as assigned.
