Join Our Team as a Cook at Outback Steakhouse

Come join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will be passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality specifications. As a Cook, you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift. You will also be preparing food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs. Your passion and commitment will help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items efficiently, ensuring quality and accuracy across our diverse menu.
  • Work in a well-designed kitchen with large working areas, including positions in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, and Make Up, along with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
  • Maintain equipment and cleanliness of your work area.
  • Work as part of a team to meet standards in food preparation and delivery.
  • Follow safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during your shift.
  • Use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications, with guidance from management.
  • Restock the kitchen and cook line as needed, practicing food safety and sanitation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or bend for extended periods while performing essential job duties.
  • Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
