Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Catering Cook for the National Bank food service in Montréal. The role involves assisting the Chef in planning and preparing menus, cooking a range of dishes, and ensuring high-quality service during daytime hours (32 hours/week) with immediate start.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in food service or catering, and assets include MAPAQ hygiene certification and related diplomas. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in food service, catering, or the restaurant industry is assets.
• Experience in high-end catering is an asset.
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is an asset.
• Diploma in Restaurant Management, Dietetic Technology, or a DEP in Institutional Cooking is an asset.
• Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and precision.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Aramark is currently seeking a Catering Cook for the National Bank food service catering department in Montréal.

Hourly Rate:

$24.00

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, daytime hours, approximately 32 hours per week

Start Date:

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in planning and preparing catering menus.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while following recipes and production standards.
• Set up workstations by ensuring all required ingredients, supplies, and equipment are available.
• Perform cooking, assembly, and finishing dishes according to established quality standards.
• Actively participate in service periods and help ensure smooth daily operations.
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations.
• Ensure the quality of food services and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards for food production and overall client experience.
• Follow and enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies, and MAPAQ requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support operational needs and assist team members as required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in food service, catering, or the restaurant industry is considered an asset.
• Experience in high-end catering is a strong asset.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
