Job summary

Grinner's Food Systems in Fortune Bridge, PEI, is seeking entry-level kitchen staff for a fast-paced restaurant. No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided. You will assist with food preparation, portioning, basic cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Relocation costs are covered by the employer. This is an on-site role with opportunities to develop culinary skills and work closely with a team to support daily meal service.

Responsibilities

  • Determine portion sizes and costs.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Prepare and cook meals or individual dishes.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with dietary restrictions.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas for safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and comply with health and safety regulations.
