Job summary

Red Chillies Flavours of India in Bedford, NS is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes in a busy kitchen. You will inspect kitchens and food service areas, order supplies and equipment, and help manage daily kitchen operations.

This is a permanent, full-time role at 35 hours per week, with wages of $17.00 per hour. Candidates should have 2–3 years of cooking experience and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Qualifications

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs.
