Responsibilities

• Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly.
• Operate machines to cut, shape, splice, fit and cement rubber materials.
• Trim, grind or buff rubber products to final form.
• Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specs.
• Make minor adjustments or repairs to products.
• Adjust machinery to proper settings.
• Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil and chemicals into machines.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Complete reports.
