Job summary

Soucy Group in Saint-Jérôme, QC, is seeking an operator to contribute to the manufacturing of off-highway rubber products. You will operate and monitor molding or vulcanizing machines, and use tools to cut, shape and assemble rubber parts, while inspecting for quality and adhering to safety rules.

The position is permanent and full-time, with evening (Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm) or night (Sun-Thu 11pm-7am) shifts. Entry pay is $23.70/hr, rising to $25.22/hr after 1920 hours, plus shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines used for molding or vulcanizing rubber articles or products.
• Use machines, equipment or hand tools to cut, shape, connect, adjust and bond rubber materials to form parts or finished products.
• Use finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind or trim rubber products into their final shape.
• Visually inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Package products in accordance with instructions.

• Shift: evening (Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm), night (Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am)
• Salary: $23.70/hr on entry, $25.22/hr after 1920 hours worked
• Shift premium: $1.25/hr for evening shift, $1.75/hr for night shift
