Job Description

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for reviewing the contents of project-specific construction subcontract agreements and making necessary changes for work to be performed. This role will also involve negotiating with customers regarding revisions to subcontract agreements and will assist the Contracts Manager in providing support to corporate operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan.
• Reviews, redlines, and negotiates Master Service Agreements, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders submitted by clients to conform with internal risk mitigation factors.
• Reviews and obtains specialized insurance certificates from client-submitted requirements.
• Prepares and completes Owner Controlled Insurance Program enrollments through multiple external administrators, confirming internal risk mitigation factors are met.
• Explains contract terminology to clients and interested parties in simple, understandable language.

• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, PDF software, and excellent typing skills.
