The Contracts Administrator leads the coordination and administration of sale and lease contracts for our space rental and workforce housing projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic, supportive, and mighty team in Ottawa, ON.

What You Get to Do:

  • Manage a variety of administrative and coordination activities, including reporting, coding, and submittal of invoices.
  • Be an expert in working with and managing spreadsheets, ensuring information is current and accurate.
  • Administer rental and sales agreement contracts per the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients post-sale of space rental units for matters related to the rental business, including managing project coordination activities such as collection of security deposits, registration of insurance certificates, and supporting invoicing and payment collection activities.
  • Manage sub-contractors and vendor service agreements to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  • Apply a strong understanding and interest in accounting principles.

Who You Are:

  • Thorough understanding of administration, facilities management, and contract law.
  • Ability to interpret contract terms and conditions.
  • Familiarity with the Builders Lien Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Workers’ Compensation Act.
  • Proven ability to work in an autonomous, high-volume, and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
