Job summary

J.D. Irving, Limited in Clarenville, NL is seeking a Contractor Sales Representative who partners with contractors to understand their needs and plan construction projects. You will provide quotes, material lists, and help manage deliveries while aiming at achieving sales targets.

This role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission after probation, with opportunities to grow in Atlantic Canada’s leading building supply network and to develop product knowledge and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Confident, energetic and self-motivated.

• Organized, and can manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to quickly develop a trusting relationship with new customers, and build rapport with existing customers.
• Experience in sales is preferred.
• A knowledge of lumber and building materials, and the construction process is an asset.
