Job summary

Kent Building Supplies Inc. is hiring Project Centre Sales Representatives to partner with customers, understand their needs, and assist in planning construction projects. The role offers a base salary plus commission and a starting salary range of 37,440.00 + Commission depending on experience.

You will drive sales through engagement, suggest solutions, and maintain knowledge of current promotions while delivering excellent customer service in Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in sales and customer service.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Confident, energetic, self-motivated.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet sales goals.
• Microsoft Office skills; willingness to learn new software.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by engaging customers, and sharing product knowledge.
• Clarify and understand customers’ needs and suggest the best solution(s) for their projects.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions.
• Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
• Produce quotes, material lists and follow-up with customers.
• Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service.
• Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Continually learn about products and market conditions.
