Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our national pharmacy team on a contract basis. You will deliver patient-centered care, provide counseling for new therapies, and coordinate care plans with Pharmacy Registered Technicians and staff to support seamless patient experiences.

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and pharmacy programs while contributing to a high standard of health and wellness services across Sobeys banners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while prioritizing patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
• Provide patient counseling and education for new therapies, tailoring the approach to patient needs.
• Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver health and wellness services across locations.
• Ensure prescription safety and appropriate delegation when needed.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and pharmacy programs.
