Position: Payroll Specialist

JTS Mechanical is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll and handle all related payroll duties. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems, particularly with NetSuite and/or Payworks, and participate in the integration of the new payroll system, Payworks.

1. Process bi-weekly payroll for 100 salary and hourly employees.
2. Reconcile payroll accounts monthly for accuracy.
3. Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
4. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
5. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with accounting software, such as NetSuite, is an asset.
• Payroll certification (PCP) is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of the Mechanical Systems industry is an asset.
