At JTS Mechanical Systems Inc., our rapidly growing team is dedicated to providing our clients with the highest quality service and the friendliest technicians in the industry. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll and handle all related duties.

The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems, specifically with NetSuite and/or Payworks, and will participate in the integration of the new payroll system, Payworks.

Responsibilities:

1. Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100 salary and hourly employees.
2. Reconcile payroll accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
3. Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
4. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
5. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite is an asset.
• Payroll certification (PCP) is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Mechanical Systems industry is an asset.
