Covenant House Toronto is seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Worker for a full-time, one-year contract. The role involves providing direct support and counselling to homeless and at-risk youth. Responsibilities include managing service plans, crisis intervention, and fostering healthy relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Child and Youth Work and have relevant experience. We offer meaningful work and competitive compensation in a supportive environment.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the direct implementation of Covenant House philosophy, mission statement, and policies as they pertain to disconnected, homeless, and hard-to-serve youth. As a member of the community support services team, you will establish relationships, provide counselling, and case management on an ongoing basis via networking in the community.
