Job summary

Grand & Toy, headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Contract Development Manager for a hybrid role. The contract runs through July 2027, with independent contractors welcome to apply, and a $90,000–$105,000 annual compensation range.

The role includes reviewing and drafting contracts and amendments, managing RFP responses, and coordinating with Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, and Sales to mitigate risk and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading contract development and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation and risk assessment capabilities.
• Ability to review and draft complex contracts and RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review contracts, amendments, and addendums for legal and key customers.
• Review RFPs and bid solicitations to identify and mitigate company risks.
• Partner with attorneys and bid writers to develop RFP response proposals.
• Analyze contract terms to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Develop negotiation strategies and collaborate with the legal team on complex issues.
• Coordinate contract-related communication across Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, and Sales.
• Oversee customer contracts and identify process improvements.
• Support contract performance and SOX requirements with Sales, Finance, and Pricing.
• Take initiative on projects and demonstrate leadership with limited supervision.
