  • Develop negotiation strategies and collaborate with the legal team on complex issues.
  • Coordinate contract-related communication across Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, and Sales.
  • Oversee customer contracts and identify process improvements.
  • Support contract performance and SOX requirements with Sales, Finance, and Pricing.
  • Take initiative on projects and demonstrate leadership with limited supervision.

About The Role

The Contract Development Manager performs RFP and Sales Contract review with moderate to high risk to the business unit. Contract activity may be non-routine and require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives. Where needed, you will communicate and implement new contract policies and processes or provide an assessment of required deviations from the established norm. This is a cross functional position affecting multiple business units in the organization.

This is a contract position until July 2027. Indipendant contractors are welcome to apply for this position.

What will I do?
  • Prepare and review contracts, amendments, and addendums for legal and key customers.
  • Review RFPs and bid solicitations to identify and mitigate company risks, requirements, and concerns.
  • Partner with attorneys and bid writers to develop RFP response proposals and support contractual requirements.
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, and identify required deviations from established practices.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and partner with the legal team on complex contractual issues.
  • Coordinate contract-related communication across Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, and Sales.
  • Oversee customer contracts across the organization, identifying opportunities to improve contract processes and recommending or implementing changes.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Pricing to support contract performance and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Take initiative on projects and demonstrate strong problem-solving, organization, and leadership skills with limited supervision.

Location

Our head-office is in Vaughan, ON. We work from the office 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday. Workstructure for indipendant contractors may vary.

Compensation

This is a contract opportunity to July 2027 with a hiring range of $90,000 - $105,000 annually.
