Job description

This is a 12-month fixed-term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Content Specialist with a sharp, creative eye and keen attention to detail. You will be responsible for overseeing the creative refresh and launch of campaigns by providing end-to-end operational support. This role involves liaising between DEPT teams and clients to coordinate final assets for trafficking. You will set up, test, check, and schedule creative assets for marketing placements on landing pages, emails, and push notifications. Additionally, you will support audience and campaign management, quality control, and assurance to ensure on-time, error-free campaign launches, reporting any issues. Working closely with eBay Canada’s Marketing teams, you will also develop landing page wireframes to manage launches and ongoing refreshes of various landing pages.

DAY-TO-DAY:
  1. Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and setting up campaigns for launch.
  2. Manage operational setup and testing for multiple campaigns, prioritising workload to launch campaigns and assets on schedule.
  3. Manage and deploy the content we create in client-specific tools. Advise clients on the best ways of setting up content to achieve their goals.
  4. Support quality assurance by reviewing project deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations and adhere to DEPT design standards.
  5. Liaise with clients, clarify questions, manage expectations, and proactively communicate status, updates, or agency recommendations.
  6. Clearly and effectively communicate campaign updates or requirements to stakeholders.
  7. Assist in building and maintaining strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
  8. Ensure high standards are maintained and add value wherever possible.
  9. Ensure projects are delivered and launched on time, providing reports on any issues that may arise.
SKILLS & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong communication skills with excellent presentation, report writing, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proven experience working proactively, autonomously, or without extensive direction.
  • Experience with content management systems, reporting tools, and project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet deadlines efficiently, managing schedules and priorities effectively.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and strong task management skills.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and improve continuously.
  • Personable, approachable, collaborative, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Moderate understanding of digital creative production and operational processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.
