Job description

This is a 12-month fixed-term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Content Specialist with a sharp, creative eye and keen attention to detail. You will oversee the creative refresh and launch of campaigns by providing end-to-end operational support. This involves liaising between DEPT teams and clients to coordinate final assets for trafficking. Responsibilities include setting up, testing, checking, and scheduling creative assets for marketing placements on landing pages, emails, and push notifications. You will also support audience and campaign management, quality control, and assurance to ensure on-time, error-free campaign launches, reporting any issues. Working closely with eBay Canada’s Marketing teams, you will develop landing page wireframes to manage launches and ongoing refreshes of various landing pages.

DAY-TO-DAY:

  1. Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and setting up campaigns for launch.
  2. Manage operational setup and testing for multiple campaigns, prioritising workload to meet launch schedules.
  3. Deploy content created in client-specific tools and advise clients on optimal setup to achieve their goals.
  4. Support quality assurance by reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations and DEPT standards.
  5. Liaise with clients, clarify questions, manage expectations, and communicate status, updates, or recommendations proactively.
  6. Communicate campaign updates or requirements effectively to stakeholders.
  7. Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and high-quality solutions.
  8. Maintain high standards and add value wherever possible.
  9. Ensure projects are delivered and launched on time, reporting any issues promptly.

SKILLS & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, report writing, and data analysis.
  • Proactive, autonomous work style with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with content management systems, reporting tools, and project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and task prioritisation.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and improve continuously.
  • Personable, approachable, collaborative, and a problem-solving team player.
  • Moderate understanding of digital creative production and operational processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.

WE OFFER:

  • A flexible, hybrid working policy.
  • Mental health support and company sick pay scheme.
  • Office refreshments available all week.
  • Social and cultural events, providing opportunities to connect with colleagues.
  • Inspirational talks with guest speakers and events.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including training and certifications.
  • Buddy programme to support your onboarding.
  • Work with diverse, global clients and be part of a certified B Corp committed to positive impact.
