Giant Tiger Wholesale in Johnstown, Ontario is hiring a permanent Warehouse Container Associate for our 660,000 square foot distribution centre. You will unload containers, lift boxes up to 50 lbs, and organize pallets while ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves standing, walking, and occasional stairs in a noisy environment, with benefits and a team-focused culture. Sunday to Tuesday, 10:00am–6:30pm shifts are typical.

Qualifications

• Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs and repetitively lifting heavy objects throughout shift.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Comfortable in a noisy, fast-paced environment and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers to configuration of cases per layer on pallets as per PO.
• Lift boxes up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift.
• Segregate boxes by item number and interlock/case on pallets with tape or wrap.
• Identify variances or damages and report to Receiver.
