Intact is seeking Consultants in Actuarial to join our growing actuarial teams. You will coach analysts, lead large-scale projects across ratemaking, reinsurance, planning, data science and reserving, and contribute to strategic discussions with a clear vision.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of actuarial experience, strong Python/Excel/VBA/SAS skills, and bilingual ability for Quebec. Eligibility to work in Canada is required, with hybrid collaboration across Canada.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education and experience.
• ACAS or FCAS certification preferred.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector).
• Good knowledge of Python, Excel, VBA or SAS.
• Desirable bilingualism for Quebec candidates interacting with colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required; must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary range (but not limited to):

109,900 - 134,300

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

What you’ll do here:

• Actively participate in the coaching and training of actuarial analysts

What you bring to the table:

• University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Certification in Mathematics, Statistic, Actuarial, ACAS or FCAS preferred.
• 5 years or more of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector).
• Good knowledge of Python, Excel, VBA or SAS.
• Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision‑making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning, organizing and team oriented.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English‑speaking colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
