Job summary

Whitehorse Chamber is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at active construction sites in remote environments. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate crews, materials, and site logistics while maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
• Proven leadership and crew management experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and site coordination.
• Experience or training in helicopter rescue and helicopter long-line rescuer instruction is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction crews
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Monitor project progress and resolve work-related problems
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
• Train and mentor workers on job duties and safety procedures
