Job summary

Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site construction activities and coordinate trades in Lethbridge, Alberta. You will ensure projects run on time, within budget, and to quality standards while leading by example and maintaining a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in commercial construction, strong leadership, blueprint-reading ability, and excellent communication. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 2+ years proven experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
• Enforce health and safety policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Schedule and coordinate trades, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs and reports.

Compensation & Hours:
