Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking a Safety Advisor for a site-based role in Sicamous, BC. You will actively promote health, safety and environmental culture across all levels of staff in alignment with Aecon’s Manual. The position includes a Living Out Allowance and Project Uplift.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction safety, formal safety certifications (CRSP/NCSO/COR), and strong training/facilitation skills. Night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in safety in construction.
• Experience delivering EHS training to individuals and groups.
• Knowledge of WorkSafe BC legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-specific safety orientations for workers, owners and clients.
• Deliver safety training on Aecon Health, Safety and Environmental Manual.
• Coordinate mandatory trainings (WHMIS, First Aid, Forklift, Propane, etc.).
• Conduct workplace inspections and audits; identify corrective actions.
