Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Quality Coordinator to join the team in our Burnaby, BC office. The successful candidate must be available to work at a site office 5 days per week, located in North Vancouver.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Review quality specifications, technical design documents, subtrade Method Statements, and Inspection Test Plans.
  2. Conduct and document inspections of subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
  4. Coordinate and participate in internal and external site audits.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries from the project team, subcontractors, and consultants.
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality and implement best practices.
  7. Lead reviews of Suppliers' Quality documents such as ITPs and procedures, and monitor establishment prior to work commencement.
  8. Participate in inspection activities to verify ongoing compliance with reviewed quality documents.
  9. Ensure quality records are complete and properly maintained.
  10. Review and comment on factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures and accept certified test reports (CTR).
  11. Support the Construction Quality Manager in establishing, reporting, and adjusting Quality KPIs.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  1. Minimum 5+ years of site-based experience related to concrete placement.
  2. Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles, construction industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Ability to identify issues, deviations, or non-conformances and conduct basic analysis for root cause and corrective actions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  5. Familiarity with CSA standards applicable to concrete placement.
Education and Credentials
  1. Technologist Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Quality-related certifications (ISO 9001, CQI) preferred.

Additional Information
  • Salary Range: Pay transparency laws require employers to provide this information for positions in BC (Lower Mainland including Vancouver & Burnaby).
  • Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for BC (Lower Mainland): $84,500 - $122,400.
  • Note: Final compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Some roles may be bonus eligible.
