Role overview

As a Quality Control team member, you will oversee in-process quality control activities related to catheter production in cleanrooms, supporting development, manufacturing, and sales.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning QC resources to meet production schedules across two shifts.
2. Hiring and training QC technicians in inspection processes.
3. Monitoring daily in-process inspections and implementing efficiency improvements.
4. Providing technical guidance during inspections within certified cleanrooms.
5. Collaborating on technical documentation improvements with Quality, Engineering, and Risk teams.
6. Supporting root cause investigations with Quality and Mechanical Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical field.
• At least two years of relevant quality control experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Proficiency with measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings for dimensional and functional testing.

• Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 CAD annually, including base pay and 5% RRSP contribution.
