As the largest operating company in the TransLink enterprise, CMBC manages a fleet of clean-fuel buses, zero-emission trolley buses, and passenger ferries in Metro Vancouver, serving over 1.1 million passengers daily.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance of new shuttle vehicles through inspections and warranty management.
• Manage fleet projects, verify inspections, and coordinate with manufacturers.
• Perform vehicle inspections, provide technical guidance, and train staff.
• Resolve maintenance issues, establish part replacement guidelines, and assist in budget planning.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments, evaluate RFPs, and support capital projects.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Grade 12 or equivalent, with a technical background and relevant certifications (e.g., Red Seal, CVIP preferred).

Additional Requirements

• Class 2 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record, medical clearance, and technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with Office tools, strong communication skills, and ability to travel.
• Physical ability to carry loads of 10-20kg.

Work Details

• 37.5 hours/week, hybrid work model.
• Salary: $8,993 - $10,791/month, with benefits including health, dental, transit pass, and pension.
