Job summary

Lindsay Construction in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Project Administrator to support the project team under the Construction Manager. This role focuses on accurate documentation, effective communication, and timely information flow on active construction projects.

You will maintain logs, prepare documentation for subcontractors and clients, coordinate submittals, and assist with monthly reports while collaborating with senior personnel and other departments.

Qualifications

• Related technical diploma or relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating commercial construction projects preferred.
• Experience using Jonas and Prolog is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date record logs for drawings, RFIs, CCNs, COs and site directives; track responses in Jonas and Prolog.
• Establish and maintain contractor contact lists.
• Prepare and distribute documents to subcontractors, clients and architects (shop drawings, change orders, RFIs, pricing requests).
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
• Create and maintain project files.
• Assist with monthly reports and client communications.
• Archive project documents for closed jobs and assist with submittals.
• Coordinate submittals and gather close-out documents, warranties, and record drawings.
