Job Title: Procurement Specialist

ACCIONA is a global provider of sustainable solutions for infrastructure and renewable energy projects, involved in large-scale projects such as the SR400 in Atlanta. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Bids and Tenders team in the Atlanta, GA area. This is an on-site role that involves collaboration with a dynamic team experienced in large-scale construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in the local Tennessee (TN) market, with the position based out of Atlanta, GA. Relocation assistance can be provided, or the candidate should be open to frequent travel between Georgia and Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers of goods and services.
• Manage tenders in company software for equipment, materials, or business services.
• Assess business requirements and develop specifications for tenders.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions, and recommend tenders.
• Review logistics and delivery schedules.
• Conduct weekly procurement meetings with project estimating teams.
• Ensure compliance with the Supply Chain vendor accreditation process.
• Advise project teams on critical procurement information.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms.
• Perform other duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant work experience in procurement or related areas.
• Experience in the construction industry; knowledge of local suppliers and subcontractors is a strong asset.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
