As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to optimize deployment pipelines, enhance system performance, and maintain the security of our platform. You will take ownership of our CI/CD processes, automate infrastructure management, and support the Engineering team in delivering high-quality software at scale. You will work closely with your colleagues to improve system observability, troubleshoot production issues, and foster an excellent and supportive engineering culture.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to improve system efficiency.

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable releases.

  • Ensuring platform reliability by proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

  • Collaborating with product engineers to improve infrastructure and developer experience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), in particular with strong proficiency in EKS, RDS, and VPC.

  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in building Infrastructure as Code configuration with Terraform.

  • Experience building performant CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

  • Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with incident response and on-call rotation processes.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of Postgres database design and optimization.

  • Experience with SOC2 or similar certifications.

  • Experience working with Vercel and/or Cloudflare.

  • Consider themselves highly capable at hands-on development in one or more programming languages.
