Job summary

Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Construction Miners to join our teams at the Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine on a 5-5-4, 10-hour dayshift schedule. This is a full-time opportunity requiring relocation to the Timmins area.

As a key member of our underground operations, you will bring ground support, install shotcrete walls, maintain ventilation and pumping systems, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience required.
• Must operate a jackleg and stopper.
• Experience with concrete work, timbering, ground support, vent doors, walls, refuge stations, and welding would be considered an asset.
• Be committed to safety.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

About the Organization

Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is located in Timmins, Ontario. The Bell Creek Complex located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty meter deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Construction Miners to join our team at the Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON. and Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON., on a full-time basis. The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hours shifts, Dayshift only.

In this position, you will be responsible for bringing ground support to underground storages, build paste walls and installing paste lines. You will be responsible for installation of shotcrete walls, installations/maintenance of ventilation lines and fans, installation/maintenance of all underground pumps and pumping systems, monitor and maintain all pipelines.

Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $32.95 - $43.50 hourly, based on qualifications and experience.

Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy. The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

• Previous experience is required
• Must be able to operate a jackleg and stopper

• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
