Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee projects in Saskatchewan, including Earthworks and Underground utilities. You will provide project management and construction strategies to ensure on-time, profitable delivery and lead planning, pre-construction, execution, and close-out phases with a strong focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of supervisory experience in commercial earthworks, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of supervisory experience in commercial earthworks and underground utilities.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, policies, procedures, and labor agreements.
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Experience in light and heavy civil projects is a plus.
• PMP designation would be an asset.
• Willing to travel to job sites across Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and construction methodologies to a project or portfolio of projects, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
• Lead and support project planning start-up, project financials, project pre-construction, project execution, close-out, and EHS.
• Strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Manage and mentor a large team including the project management group.
• Lead multiple projects from estimate to close-out.

You as a Construction Manager will:

• PMP designation would be considered an asset.
