Are you a seasoned construction leader with a passion for quality craftsmanship and delivering exceptional homes? Our client, a respected and established home builder in the Edmonton area, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead residential construction projects across multiple communities.

About the Role :

As the Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all new home builds within assigned subdivisions. You’ll manage Site Superintendents, ensure construction excellence, and help drive the company’s goals in quality, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee Site Superintendents across multiple active communities
2. Conduct weekly site walks and assess production quality and progress
3. Ensure homes meet quality standards, budget, and timelines
4. Train and mentor Site Superintendents in construction processes and customer handovers
5. Optimize construction systems, processes, and cycle times
6. Recruit and manage trades while ensuring site safety protocols are followed
7. Monitor construction budgets and reduce variance purchase orders (VPOs)
8. Assist with development of training materials and construction manuals

What We’re Looking For :

• Proven experience managing residential construction projects
• Strong leadership in supervising field teams and subcontractors
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and scheduling
• Ability to manage cost controls and deliver high-quality, on-time projects
• Valid Provincial Driver's License required
• Diploma or degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (preferred)
