Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking local Labourers for commercial projects in Kelowna, BC. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week; wages: $21.95-$29.95 per hour. Benefits and RRSP provided as per collective agreement. Duties include lifting, carrying material, spotting equipment, and assisting trades.

Applicants should have CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015, with the ability to handle up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications

• CSTS 2020 certification is required.
• WHMIS 2015 certification is required.
• Extensive safety knowledge and precautions are expected.
• Must be able to lift, carry and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Candidate should be organized, self-driven, and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lifting, carrying material
• Spotting equipment
• Escorting material and equipment to and from the site gate
• Assisting trades with various tasks
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor and use of hands and tools
• Following safe work and quality policies and procedures
• Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks daily
