Job summary

Seymour Pacific Developments LTD is seeking laborers for our construction site in Portage la Prairie, MB. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, moving tools, operating hand/power tools, and maintaining a safe, clean site.

Applicants should have prior related experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Flexible hours may be required; long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in a related position.
• Positive can-do attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Willing and able to follow direction and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials.
• Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe site.
• Move and level earth using shovels and rakes.
• Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed.
• Practice workplace safety at all times.
• Perform other duties as required.

Your contributions to the team:

• Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
• Move tools, equipment, andconstruction materials to and from work areas
• Operate hand and power tools
• Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site
• Move and level earth using shovels and rakes
• Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed
• Practice work place safety at all time
• Perform other duties as required
