Job summary

Seymour Pacific Developments is seeking labourers to join our crew at our construction site in Portage la Prairie, MB. You will load/unload materials, move tools, operate hand and power tools, and help maintain a safe, efficient site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related position.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Willing and able to easily follow direction.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Willing and able to work long hours in a fast-pace, physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials.
• Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site.
• Move and level earth using shovels and rakes.
• Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed.
• Practice work place safety at all time.
• Perform other duties as required.
