Job summary

Seymour Pacific Developments is seeking hardworking laborers for our Fernie, BC construction site. You will load and unload materials, move tools, operate hand and power tools, and help maintain a safe, clean site while following directions and maintaining a strong work pace.

Starting wages from $20.80 to $26 per hour, dependent on skill and experience, with extended health, dental, vision coverage and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related position
• Positive can-do attitude
• Willing and able to easily follow direction
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Willing and able to work long hours in a fast-pace, physical environment

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
• Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas
• Operate hand and power tools
• Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site
• Move and level earth using shovels and rakes
• Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed
• Practice work place safety at all time
• Perform other duties as required

Your contributions to the team:
