Job summary

Nova Drywall Ltd. is seeking a full-time Estimator to review architectural drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall, framing, and related scopes of work on-site in the Greater Vancouver Area.

The role involves analyzing project requirements, reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotes, and preparing detailed bids while collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and management to support budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong estimating and takeoff skills to interpret drawings and quantify quantities.
• Experience with construction estimating software and digital tools for bid preparation.
• Knowledge of drywall, framing, and general construction methods and local codes.
• Experience as estimator or related role is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and specifications to determine quantities and costs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall, framing, and related scopes.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotes and prepare bids/proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and management to support budgeting and value engineering.
