Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is hiring for a Seasonal - Part Time role (Sept–Dec) to support Food & Beverage events by setting up meeting rooms and related spaces.

Duties include setup/teardown, linen stocking, bar service setup, inventory control, and maintaining room appearance during events. Smart Serve certification is required, reliable transportation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and tears down meeting rooms and special events, including stocking of meeting room materials.
• Maintains and stocks linen areas, reports inventory requirements to leaders, keeps store areas clean and stocked.
• Refresh, reset and maintain meeting rooms appearance during events; set up banquet bar service and manage bar inventory during events.
• During bar service: maintain communication with Bartender and restock bar supplies.
• Responsible for Beverage Inventory management; FIFO stocking and usage.

SEASONAL - PART TIME (September to December)

WAGE- $18.71 Plus Gratuity

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this role is to accurately set up meeting rooms to support all Food and Beverage events associated with our conference business as well as other outlets.

• Sets up and tears down of meeting rooms and special events, including stocking of meeting room materials.
• Maintains and stocks linen areas: Reports inventory requirements to leaders, ensuring store areas are clean, organized and stocked.
• Refresh, reset and maintain meeting rooms appearance during events
• Set up banquet bar service: set up tables, mobile bars, pick-up and delivery of bar product.
• During bar service: maintain communication with Bartender, restock bar inventory, restock ice, glassware.
• Responsible Beverage Inventory management; cleaning and maintaining store rooms. Use FIFO method of stocking and using product.
