Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking staff for a seasonal, part-time position at Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario. The role involves setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and events, stocking materials, and assisting with bar service and beverage inventory.

• Stand/walk for 8–12 hour shifts.
• May require late shifts up to 3:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down of meeting rooms and events; stock materials.
• Maintain and stock linen areas; report inventory needs to leaders.
• Refresh and maintain meeting room appearance during events.
• Set up banquet bar service; arrange tables, mobile bars, and deliveries.
• During bar service: communicate with bartender, restock inventory and ice.
• Manage beverage inventory; use FIFO stocking method.

SEASONAL - PART TIME

WAGE- $18.71 Plus Gratuity

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Sets up and tears down of meeting rooms and special events, including stocking of meeting room materials.
• Maintains and stocks linen areas: Reports inventory requirements to leaders, ensuring store areas are clean, organized and stocked.
• Refresh, reset and maintain meeting rooms appearance during events
• Set up banquet bar service: set up tables, mobile bars, pick-up and delivery of bar product.
• During bar service: maintain communication with Bartender, restock bar inventory, restock ice, glassware.
• Responsible Beverage Inventory management; cleaning and maintaining store rooms. Use FIFO method of stocking and using product.
