Job summary

Del Property Management in Collingwood, ON, seeks an experienced Condominium Manager to lead daily operations at Lighthouse Point. You will oversee financials, facilities, vendor relations and tenant boards, driving excellence in community management.

The role requires 3–5 years in condo property management, a related degree, and a General License. You’ll manage budgets, contracts, and communications, ensuring compliant operations and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
  • General License is required.
  • 3–5 years of condominium property management experience.
  • Knowledge of condominium legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting: prepare draft budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Contract management: tendering, development, and execution of contracts; supervise contractors.
  • Project oversight: manage reserve fund projects and ensure on-budget completion.
  • Communication & records: handle resident correspondence and maintain organized records.
  • Software & systems: ensure smooth operation of property management software.
  • Security & reporting: review security reports and provide monthly summaries.
  • Resident data: maintain resident/owner information systems.
  • Trades management: coordinate with trades and oversee work approvals.
  • Meeting & AGM support: assist with setup and execution of resident meetings.
  • Policy & bylaw enforcement: enforce policies and address resident concerns.

This role involves overseeing various aspects of property management, including financial management, facilities maintenance, vendor management, and building relationships with tenants, landlords and boards.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities
  • Budget & Finance: Prepare draft budgets, manage budget resources, and report on revenues/expenditures.
  • Contract Management: Handle tendering, development, and execution of contracts; supervise contractors.
  • Project Oversight: Collaborate on Reserve Fund projects, manage proposals, and ensure timely, on-budget completion.
  • Communication & Records: Manage mail/email, prepare resident correspondence, and maintain organized records
  • Software & Systems: Ensure the smooth operation and updating of property management software.
  • Security & Reporting: Review security reports, address issues, and provide monthly summaries.
  • Resident Data: Maintain and update resident/owner information systems.
  • Trades Management: Coordinate with trades, oversee work, and manage related approvals.
  • Meeting & AGM Support: Assist with the setup and execution of resident meetings.
  • Policy & Bylaw Enforcement: Enforce community policies and address resident concerns.
  • General Operations: Supervise staff, ensure efficient building operations, and handle other assigned duties.
The Architect of Your Success
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Condominium Property Management.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • A General License is required.
  • Knowledge of Condominium legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
