  • Take samples during processing for analysis.
  • Test products for strength and conformity to specifications.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced.
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.

Speedy Concrete Ltd, located at 11615 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC V6V 2M1, Canada, is seeking to hire 1 full-time Concrete Products Inspector to join our team. This is a permanent position offering $37.50 per hour for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must have a secondary (high school graduation) certificate or equivalent experience and be able to communicate in English. The candidate must also have 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience. This is an on-site position requiring availability for early morning, morning, day, evening, and overtime shifts as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audits of ready-mix concrete plant facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Test and verify concrete products during batching and on-site, ensuring compliance with CSA standards.
  • Advise supervisors, central control operators, and machine operators of problems or product deficiencies
  • Grade and label raw materials or finished products
  • Take samples during or after processing for routine or laboratory analysis
  • Test products for strength, density, durability, and conformity to specifications
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced
  • Develop quality management and quality assurance standards
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Collect samples and perform laboratory tests
